Definition :

The satin-finish LIGHT Charron Blue paint is obtained thanks to the unique vegetable pigment from the plant, the Pastel (Isatis Tinctoria), which delivers this beautiful blue!

Since the 14th century, this color has been used by the peasants to paint carts, oxen horns, shutters ... Indeed, its natural action against insects is well known and recognized!

This pigment, exposed to UV, has the property of skating over time and giving an incredible rustic effect to the supports.

Composition :

Aqueous dispersion of soybean oil, chalk, Isatis Tinctoria pigment, gum of biological origin, water.

Technical characteristics :

  • Satiny.
  • With 3 shades of blue (light, medium, dark).
  • Microporous. Ready to use.
  • Outdoor / indoor use.
  • Washable and does not cause electrostatic charges.

  • Dry to the touch in 1h / recoverable in 6h / final drying in 48h / 72h / hardening to heart (about 10 days).
  • Density: 1L = 1.42kg.
  • Clean tools with clean water.

Ecological characteristics :

  • Without solvents.
  • No co-solvents or citrus essence.
  • Without coalescing agents.

Application tips :

  • Stir well before use.
  • Application to a synthetic brush with a polyamide blend, microfibre roller (6mm: stretched aspect or 9 mm: poached appearance), spray gun, diluted between 8 and 10% water and airless spray gun diluted between 5 and 8% (nozzles 417: 0.43 mm or 415: 0.38 mm).
  • Indoors, apply a coat of PRIMAIRE MATE in print, and two coats of LIGHT CHARRON BLUE PAINTING in finish, for an optimum rendering!
  • Outside, apply a layer of MULTI-SUPPORTS PRIMARY and two layers of LIGHT CHARRON BLUE PAINTING finishing, for an optimum rendering!
  • The application equipment should always be clean and dry.
  • Do not exceed 150 microns per coat. Apply between 10 ° C and 35 ° C (paint temperature, ambient air and substrate).
  • Always apply in dry weather: humidity <65%.
  • We advise to let the product harden for several days before testing it.

Destination :

  • Outdoors and indoors on all pre-prepared supports.
  • On new substrates, lightly polish and dust before application.
  • On previously painted substrates, leach if necessary, rinse thoroughly and sand before application.
  • On concrete or cement, wait 45 days and check that the pH is less than 9 before painting.
  • On ferrous, non-ferrous and plastic metals, apply an appropriate primer coat before painting.

Peinture bleus charrette claire
Je ne l'ai pas encore utiliser mais je suis déjà très satisfaire des services de bleu de lectoure, commande simple, livraison rapide et en très bon état. Je vais utiliser ma peinture pour repeindre les portes de mes enclos à moutons résultat à voir donc plus tard ;-) !

j'avais utilisé ce produit il y a une dizaine d'anné l'aime toujours a d'abord servi à repeindre des bancs en bois anciens(6)qui longent la maison(grande bâtisse du 19 eme )et je vais en recommander une plus grosse quantité pour tous les volets.trés agréable à utiliser,selon le temps ,la couleur vire au bleu,au gris,c'est superbe.

Peinture bleu charrette claire
Nous avons repeint 2 volets il y a 9 mois. Peinture agréable à poser, odeur légère (mais présente tout de même).
Ils ont passé l'hiver impeccablement, très bonne tenue.
La couleur est magnifique.

Peinture bleus charrette claire
Nous avons repeint des volets, sur un ancien moulin à eau en Picardie (XVI-XVIIIe siècle). Amiens a été un grand centre de production de "l'Isatis Tinctoria" dès le 12e siècle et on peut donc penser que cette couleur était utilisée dans la région dans le passé.
La couleur est absolument magnifique.
La peinture est agréable à passer, avec un bel aspect, presque pas d'odeur... Juste un peu lente à sécher "complètement" donc ne pas se précipiter pour reposer les volets.
Reste à savoir le tenue dans le temps. On vous dira dans 10 ans !
